Former All-Star pitcher Kevin Brown is ready to deal his Inlet Beach, FL, home to a new owner for $7.5 million.

Brown’s custom-built home sits right on the beach and faces out onto the welcoming blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The community of Inlet Beach is located on the Florida Panhandle, midway between Panama City and Pensacola.

Right on the sand, the former big leaguer’s five-bedroom residence was built in 1998 and sits in a private, gated enclave known as Paradise by the Sea.

A local site describes the luxury community as “one of the most exclusive custom home developments along the Scenic 30A.” Brown paid $4.8 million for the property in June 2014.

Offering 5,231 square feet of living space, the home sits on a lot measuring just over a half-acre, with 60 feet of Gulf frontage.

Luxe amenities inside this three-level beach home include an elevator, an in-house guest suite, and a private boardwalk with direct access to your private beach.

Other highlights include a designer kitchen, cypress wood panel walls, cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams, and plank-tile floors. Spacious decks on the top two levels offer a perfect perch for gazing out at the Gulf.

Brown owns another beachfront property that he purchased in 2010 for $3.8 million. He and his wife, Candace, also own a luxury estate in Macon, GA.

Brown, 55, spent 19 years in the big leagues with six teams and holds a career win-loss record of 211-144. He was a six-time All-Star and led the National League in ERA in 1996 and 2000.

He was a key member of the 1997 World Series champion Florida Marlins team and pitched a no-hitter in that same season. He’s currently an assistant baseball coach at Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, GA.

Keith Flippo with the Premier Property Group Seacrest Office has the listing.
