We gleefully binge home renovation TV shows—we’re gluttons for gorgeous makeovers. By the end of each episode, there’s a final flourish where we’re treated to the results and get a glimpse of a few rooms gorgeously staged for maximum camera time.

But what about the rest of the rooms? And what becomes of the house?

Well, when one goes up for sale, we all have the opportunity to see the finished product after the cameras were packed away. Most builders, like “Property Brothers” stars Jonathan and Drew Scott, renovate and paint every room in the house, but don’t stage all of them.

Now that this lovely three-bedroom home in Nashville, TN, is on the market, we get a peek behind the curtain. Renovated by the Scott brothers in Season 12 of their hit HGTV show, the home is now listed for $619,000.

First, a quick recap: The Scott brothers meet Aben Eubanks and Ashley Arrison in the “Striking the Right Chord” episode. The married couple want to find the perfect home in the Nashville area: close to town, suitable for their toddler, and suited to their two college-age daughters, who come home to visit.

Drew finds the duo a 2,611-square-foot home on a large lot for $469,000. Jonathan proceeds to make improvements on the home, which was built in 1956. He fully renovates the family room and kitchen, extends the back porch, and combines a few bedrooms.

Of course, the results were perfect for the couple at the time, but nothing lasts forever.

For professional reasons, the couple now have to move to Los Angeles. Arrison’s boss, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Shane McAnally, is behind the move. McAnally, who will be part of the panel judging original songs on the new NBC competition series “Songland,” wanted Arrison on the West Coast with him.

“They loved the house the Property Brothers renovated for them,” says listing agent Laura Putty Stroud of French King Fine Properties. “But life changes.”

At the current asking price, the owners aren’t going to see a huge profit on the house. They paid $469,000 in 2017 and spent $130,000 on renovations.

The numbers show the couple aren’t trying to capitalize on the “Property Brothers” pedigree—unlike the prices we’ve seen on Texas homes touched by the expert hands of Chip and Joanna Gaines on “Fixer Upper.”

This Nashville home features a gorgeous, open great room, which opens to a beautiful white kitchen with a farmhouse sink, spacious pantry, and black-topped island.

The Scott brothers made the entryway another huge highlight, with a black, white, and gray accent wall painted by local artist Angela Simeone.

But what did they do to the rest of the house? Well it’s amazing how far a little paint, new flooring, and some new fixtures will go. Even though those rooms aren’t staged, the listing photos show they’ve been freshened-up.

Particularly charming are the attic suite with a full bath, and the basement with the new, windowed door. The space could be used as a studio, game room, or whatever a buyer’s heart desires.

The spacious new deck that overlooks the lush backyard is also a bonus.

When their home renovation was finished, Eubanks declared it “awesome.” Arrison cried, “I’m in love!”

Stroud says the couple were “devastated” to leave it. For “Property Brothers” fans, it’s an opportunity to buy some of that HGTV-inspired magic without the hassle of the camera crews.
