Beck‘s home in the Hollywood Hills has come on the market for $2.95 million. The singer-songwriter purchased the Craftsman residence in 2014 for $1,045,000.
He and former wife Marissa Ribisi recently divorced and split up their possessions, including artwork and multiple properties. The “Loser” singer kept 10 properties across California, Arkansas, and Tennessee, while his former spouse held on to one in California, People reported.
The Hollywood Hills home is located in a celebrity-studded enclave known as The Oaks. Listing details note the stylish space has been “fully renovated by the current owner.”
Where it’s at
Built in 1948, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom abode measures in at 2,364 square feet. The light-filled layout offers an open plan with a dining and living area that opens to a covered and heated seating area outside, as well as a terraced backyard.
The musician’s recording equipment, including multiple guitars, can be spotted in the main living space as well as in a bedroom.
An updated kitchen comes with top-of-the-line appliances, a large island with seating, and marble counters.
Plus, the primary bedroom features a huge walk-in closet and updated bath.
Other spaces include a media room, family room, and an office.
In addition, the garage features a bonus room that is currently configured as a home theater and recording studio.
The charming cottage also includes plentiful storage. And the outdoor space provides multiple seating and entertaining areas.
When not focused on his music, the 52-year-old seems to enjoy a home flip or two.
In 2019, he and then-wife Ribisi listed a Los Feliz home they reportedly had purchased two years prior. Architectural Digest noted that the couple picked up two more homes on the same street before that, which they also sold.
Beck also owned a home in Mandeville Canyon that he remodeled and then placed on the market in 2017.
Born in Los Angeles, the Grammy-award winner put out his 14th studio album, Hyperspace, in 2019.
