If you appreciate spectacular views using your bike, then many cyclists drive up to Boreas Pass and/or take in the tranquility of Hoosier Pass. You can also explore some back-country at Montezuma Ghost Town, which provides a glimpse into the mining era.
Among the parks of Liftside which to roam and enjoy is Kingdom Park, which offers two softball parks (both with lighting accommodations), playgrounds for younger children, four tennis courts and an area for whitewater kayaking. The 100% free Breckenridge Skateboard Park provides skate enthusiasts with a nine-foot in depth bowl area for individuals at all skill levels.
Those who enjoy a game of golf, there are four golf courses such as the Bear Nine which also holds magnificent views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains as well as an occasional view of a deer or red tail hawks.

Among the monthly events is the 4th of July celebration, which includes a parade, plenty of hot dogs and fireworks and even a Firecracker Mountain Bicycle Race.
